Sour Oranges otherwise known as bitter oranges or ‘Naranja Agria’ have a deep orange color and are very juicy. They have both a sour taste and an astringent or bitter taste. They are used to make orange marmalade, sauces, chutney, candied fruit, pies, flavorings, and liqueurs such as Grand Marnier, curaçao, and Cointreau. Origin: Dominican Republic, U.S.A
